I run my practice with care, integrity, and a deep respect for the trust involved in therapy. Whether you are looking for support with sleep, emotional challenges, or your relationships, you can learn more below about my approach, background, and professional training.
I understand how difficult it can be to begin therapy and to speak openly about personal challenges. My aim is to offer a space that is calm, respectful, and practical — where you feel understood and supported, whatever your background or life experience.
I work with individuals and couples, and I do not believe that one method fits everyone. My work is informed by established, evidence-based approaches, including:
Rather than applying techniques rigidly, I draw from these approaches in a flexible way, responding to what each person or couple genuinely needs.
Sleep counselling is a central part of my practice. Poor sleep affects mood, concentration, health, and quality of life — often more than people realise. I offer structured, evidence-based sleep counselling using cognitive-behavioural principles to help clients develop healthier sleep patterns and feel more rested and well.
I work with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, identities, and lifestyles, and I welcome feedback throughout the process to ensure the work remains helpful and effective.
I am a psychotherapist and sleep counsellor with over a decade of experience supporting people through change, difficulty, and growth. My work is shaped less by imposing rigid models and more by careful listening, thoughtful understanding, and genuine human connection.
I was raised in Scotland and studied psychology at the University of Glasgow, alongside years of hands-on work with individuals with learning disabilities, young people, and adults facing complex life challenges. During this time, I trained and practised as a sleep counsellor with Sleep Scotland (now Sleep Action) and taught the psychology component of their professional training programme.
My work has also taken me to South Africa, where I was involved in community projects, coaching, and special education, including work with autistic children and their families.
I later moved to Israel, where I undertook extensive religious study in Jerusalem and received rabbinic ordination. Alongside my clinical work, I continue to teach and provide pastoral support in educational settings. While my background informs who I am, my therapeutic work is focused entirely on helping clients meet their own goals, in ways that feel respectful, grounded, and appropriate for them.
I live in Jerusalem with my wife and our three children.
MA in Psychology from the University of Glasgow
