I run my practice with integrity, to ensure my patients get the best possible outcomes in life. Learn more about my personal story, practice, and qualifications below.
I understand the importance of quality therapy, and the difficulties involved in opening up. Whatever your background - secular or religious - I want to work with you to be happy, healthy, and fulfilled in life. To achieve this, I am committed to giving you the best possible resources and support.
I work with both individuals and couples. As a therapist, I strive to incorporate a combination of approaches, tailored to your needs, including:
In my practice, I encourage feedback to ensure I am giving the best support possible.
I also offer specialised sleep counselling. Poor sleep is one of the biggest risk factors for depression, anxiety, and cognitive decline. And yet, with the right tools, almost everyone can achieve healthy sleep! I use an evidence-based Cognitive-Behavioural approach to help clients get the best night's sleep possible.
I work with a variety of clients, and am also sensitive to those with different cultural backgrounds, identities, and lifestyles to my own.
My story begins in Scotland, where I worked with Tribe UK to support Jewish youth. I also worked as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities at Teens+ and Cosgrove Care. In Glasgow, I studied psychology, became Vice President of the Jewish Representative Council. I trained and practiced as a sleep counsellor with Sleep Scotland (now Sleep Action), and taught the psychology component of their training course.
I spent time in Durban, South Africa, where I worked with the Jabulani Project, providing coaching for individuals and helping open a shelter. At St Raphael’s Special School, I taught communication and worked with the Autism unit to improve parental understanding.
Finally, I arrived in Israel, where I studied in Jerusalem and earned semicha (ordination) to become a rabbi. I studied Jewish law, theology, and philosophy. I now serve as a mashgiach (Spiritual and Pastoral Lead) at Yeshivas Yedid Hamelech and as a director and lecturer at Emek Learning Center. I am married and have three loving children.
I believe there are many ways to support people - spiritually and psychologically. I feel strongly about helping people overcome their challenges, in whatever form they take. While I believe in a connection between the soul and emotional life, my work is focused on helping you achieve your personal goals and dreams, not imposing my own views, religious or otherwise.
